Aid for Keely’s Mom: Financial and Safety Crisis

Hi everyone!! I need your help. My Mother suffered a stroke on Monday September 30, 2024. She was in a New York Hospital for two weeks and then she was transferred to a Rehabilitation Center in New York on Friday October 11, 2024. On Wednesday April 2, 2025, while I was visiting my Mother another patient (who has Dementia) assaulted my Mother in front me. I filled out a report only to find out that this facility already knew that this woman had been assaulting other people on another floor. This woman was then transferred her to the same floor as my Mother and continued to be menace to other patients. I have been fighting them ever since. Now the facility has decided to take my Mother’s Social Security Checks (starting in June) without notifying me and now I can’t pay any of her bills. I am now forced to take my Mother out of this facility and this place still wants me to pay her bill for this facility. I am so angry and disgusted. My Mother has worked hard all of her life for me and my brother Keenan and she does not deserve this.

Our Health Care System is Broken. I urge all of you to check your Health Care Coverage because I guarantee you, you are not fully covered as you may think you are.
